Founded in 1980, Ekris Cable initially supplied specialty cable assemblies to a small, local market. The company soon expanded into the growing national IBM 3X and AS/400 markets and later into virtually all forms of low-voltage, computer, local area network (LAN) and telecom cabling and termination.

The growth of our business resulted in the construction of a new facility in 1987. Then, in 1990, we entered the fiber-optic assembly field and expanded our staff of Siecor-trained personnel to meet the expected demand for this new technology. Sales continued to grow, and Ekris Cable doubled the size of its facilities in 1992 to accommodate this growth.

Whether manufacturing specialized wire and cable assemblies or providing value-added services, we at Ekris Cable conform to the most exacting standards. We are currently engaged in the process of ISO 9000 certification to enhance our quality assurance to our customers.
